Animation Competition
Loop de Loop is a monthly animation competition help across Australia (and now internationally!). Each month, Loop de Loop puts out a new theme, and the only requirements to your entry are: it must loop, and it must be animation - any kind.
I have submitted several Loop de Loops over the years, and have even won events! Throughout 2024 and 2025 I also assisted with cohosting the Brisbane branch, and have helped out with creating several promotional posters. This submission shown for HOT came second place, but is the work I am most proud of.
Concrete Gold Spotify Promotion Material
Alongside story driven work, I engage with a multitude of commercial freelance animation. I have a keen interest in the Australian music scene, being a lover of everything Violent Soho and Kind Gizzard.
Concrete Gold was an Indie Rock band from Brisbane, who commissioned me to create a Spotify canvas for their singe Streets. It was a great opportunity to create visuals that not just match, but enhance the music!

Specsavers x Flickerfest Ad Competition
The Specsavers x Flickerfest ad competition was a onetime chance to be a part of the unique ad history of this company - fulfilling the phrase "Should have gone to Specsavers". The main requirements of the brief were that the person who need's glasses couldn't know their mistake in the ad. The ad also had to be marketed to a wide audience (18-60), and 30 seconds long.
My submission took a month to make, and I handled everything from storyboards to compositing. The process taught me a lot about working under pressure to meet a fun client brief.
Bazzo the Ibis
CelAction Rig and Animation
Bazzo came out of Griffith University's CelAction masterclass, taught by Claire Renton. The brief was to design, rig, and animate a 15 second character interaction over the trimester. The brief required a model turn around, drawing substitutions, prop interaction, and a well organised rig.
Bazzo takes it one step further, and add's a buttload of personality. Limbered up with an additional simple Ibis-animal rig, this rig struts his personality all over the Brisbane City botanical gardens.
